Hi, I’m Naomi—designer, printer, and founder of Render Goods. I’ve spent the last decade building a creative life from scratch, learning as I go, and saying yes almost always before I felt ready.
I’m self-taught in both business, and print, and went to school for design. Somewhere along the way, I turned a curiosity for making things into a sustainability-focused home goods brand—most known for dish towels made from recycled plastic bottles.
I was born and raised in Northern California, but recently moved to Chicago with my new husband (and our dog, Buoy). We traded up from the dungenous garage studio, to a proper warehouse studio with lots of natural light.
I love clean design, messy process, good ideas, better stories, and sharing the behind-the-scenes of all of it.
and most likely, if you’re here, you do too.
I’ve been printing since I was 15. One of my first jobs was stacking T-shirts at a local screen printing shop—quietly observing during the week and teaching myself to print on weekends.
My first press? Built from a 2x4, a door hinge, and a street sign. It wasn’t pretty, but it worked.
I’ve come a long way since then—through trial, error, and a whole lot of curiosity. What started as a scrappy side hustle has turned into a full-time creative business, and I still carry that same DIY spirit into everything I make.
Although many people I come across don't consider me a DIY or handmade artist, I have blended this passion for understanding process, and gritty hard work into an accessible execution to create works that are not detrimental to gift to my hearts desire.
I grew up surrounded by beautiful art—the kind you’re not supposed to touch. Galleries, frames, quiet rooms with shelves of things you couldn't touch. Art that felt distant, untouchable, and off-limits.
I always knew I wanted to make things that were different. Things you could hold. Use. Wear out. Wipe your hands on. I wanted art that lived in a space, not just hung in it.
That’s what led me to what I create now: bold, nature-inspired designs printed on sustainable textiles you’re actually supposed to use. My style blends vibrant color with clean form, organic shapes with modern layouts. It’s playful but grounded, designed to be both beautiful and functional—because beauty shouldn’t require permission.
Every towel I print is meant to be a little piece of art that does more than sit pretty. You can fold it, spill on it, gift it, hang it, live with it. And maybe most importantly—touch it.
